What Makes Us Different?
Cook Creation Co products are made in small batches at my home in North Carolina. We don't simply repackage what somebody else has produced, our products are thoughtfully formulated and made by hand using plant based oils and butters. We care about making ordinary products unusually good.
Artisan Soap Bars

Soap has been cleaning hands and bodies for thousands of years. We've been working to refine our soap formulation, and have gone through several versions. Where we've settled for our soap bars is a formula that has NC-grown High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Castor Oil, and Beeswax. This is then combined with a mixture of water, lye and additives to give firmness and reduce soap scum. This alkaline mixture reacts with the oils to make soap salts and glycerin. While this reaction is partially completed natural essential oils, and Vitamin E are added.
Each ingredient serves a real purpose, whether its the sunflower oil making the bar milder and more conditioning, or the disodium EDTA binding to metals and reducing soap scum, we carefully choose ingredients for maximum impact.
WORKING HANDS CLEANSING SCRUB
Our Working Hands Cleansing Scrub is one of my favorite items that I make. If you've never seen anything quite like it, neither have I. If you think of scoopable soap, body oil, and an exfoliating scrub but combine those all into one product then you have something close to what we make. This scrub works great on automotive grease, garden soil, adhesive residue, and paint. It's the first thing I reach for when I've been working outside, and it leaves your hands feeling soft and refreshed.
The scrub gets most of its cleaning power from soap containing NC-grown sunflower oil, coconut oil, castor oil, and stearic acid.
For conditioning we use Shea Butter, Fractionated Coconut Oil, NC-grown sunflower oil, Jojoba oil, ceateryl alcohol, polysorbate 60, and Vitamin E.
For exfoliation and scrubbing power we use regular white sugar. Sugar does 2 things; it first helps to exfoliate and really get into the creases and corners of your hands, and the second is that as it dissolves it reacts with the soap to boost and stabilize the lather so the same amount of scrub goes further and cleans better.
Moisturizing Hand Cream
This is a product that I personally really love. This is a great companion to our working hands cleansing scrub and as an every day lotion to leave your hands soft and nourished.
Made with Shea Butter, NC-grown High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, and Beeswax to restore your natural lipid barrier; Glycerin and Sodium Lactate act as humectants for deep moisturizing; Tapioca Starch for a soft and silky finish.
Body Butter
Rich, velvety, and deeply nourishing, our body butter is crafted with a luxurious blend of plant-based butters and oils to leave skin feeling soft, smooth and cared for. A little goes a long way, melting into the skin without leaving behind an overly greasy feel.
This is one of our more complicated formulations, made with Shea and Mango Butters, NC Grown High-Oleic Sunflower Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Sweet Almond Oil for lasting nourishment; Behentrimonium Mehosulfate and Polysorbate 60 as emulsifiers and conditioning agents; Glycerin and Sodium Lactate as humectants for deep moisturizing; and tapioca starch for a soft silky finish.
